We all experience times of difficulty in our lives, no matter what our age, ability, or circumstances. Talking to a trained professional can help make sense of those challenging times & can offer a way through them, moving towards a better understanding of ourselves & our feelings. With this clarity we can move forward with a sense of feeling less overwhelmed & back in control of our lives again. You might consider counselling because a current life difficulty needs attention, and a few sessions may bring enough relief and clarity. However, if themes in your life crop up time and again that cause you distress, you might find longer term work more beneficial.
